Dacic and Chepurin discussed OSCE engagement in resolution of Ukrainian crisis |

OSCE Chairperson-in-Office/First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Serbia Alexander Chepurin.
During the meeting the Ministers discussed the involvement of the OSCE in resolving the Ukrainian crisis and the need for full implementation of the Minsk arrangements. The OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Dacic announced an extraordinary meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna to be held today, following the deteriorating situation in eastern Ukraine. Minister Dacic expressed concern over the situation in east Ukraine, pointing out that it was necessary to invest maximum efforts to achieve an immediate cease-fire. He gave support to his Special Representative in Ukraine, and invited all parties to guarantee safety to the members of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine. |
