au -_mvencaFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today with the Deputy Chairperson of the Secretariat of the African Union Erastus Mwencha, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Zambia Harry Kalaba and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Angola Georges Rebelo Pinto Chicoti.

Readiness for the promotion of overall relations both with the African Union as a whole and with its member states was emphasized in the talks. Plans for further development of the economic and military cooperation were underlined in particular, as well as cooperation in the field of education.
The principled position concerning non-recognition of the unilateral declaration of independence of Kosovo and Metohija was reiterated during the talks.
