First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, on the first day of the AU Executive Council session in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Readiness for the enhancement of cooperation between Serbia and the African Union, particularly in the economic area, was voiced in the meeting.

Minister Dacic expressed his gratitude for the principled position of the African Union when it comes to the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo and Metohija.
Traditionally friendly relations between Serbia and the African countries have been pointed out in the cordial talks.
