DFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had a telephone conversation today with UK Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Mr. Philip Hammond.

During their conversation, the Serbian Foreign Minister and British Foreign Secretary expressed their wish for the improvement of bilateral relations. It is with this goal in mind that Mr. Hammond is to visit the Republic of Serbia on 15 January, when he will meet top Serbian officials, Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic.
Foreign Secretary Hammond pointed out that the United Kingdom supported Serbia's European path, wishing Serbia success during the OSCE Chairmanship.
Minister Dacic expressed his regret that he would not be able to be Mr. Hammond's host in Belgrade on 15 January, for he would be chairing the first annual session of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna at that time.
