Dacic: Serbia has clearly opted for dialogue

dacic-tanjugFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic estimated that Hashim Thaci's statement about Serbia's expansionist mentality indicated Pristina was unsure what it wanted, whether it was a dialogue or its own monologue and blind acceptance of what they were after.

“In a situation where the Brussels dialogue is status-neutral, it is completely absurd to respond to such provocations by Thaci. To accuse Serbia of expansionism amid attempts to legalise a violent and unilateral violation of its territorial integrity, as well as amid almost daily talk of Greater Albania, which would also breach the territorial integrity of several other countries, is utter hypocrisy”, Dacic said, adding that Serbia has clearly opted for dialogue and stability in the region, but that it appears that our constructiveness is interpreted as weakness by Pristina.
“Thaci must be clear that the times of talking to Serbia in a “take-it-or-leave-it” fashion are over”, said Minister Dacic.
