Chicago: Serbian Film Festival

cikagoSerbian Film Festival was held at Chicago’s prestigious “Movico18” movie theatre from 5 to 7 December 2014. The Festival was founded and organized by Slavica Petrović, the publisher of “Ogledalo” (Serbian Mirror), a Serbian diaspora newspaper from Chicago.

The program included screenings of three feature films: “Kad ljubav zakasni” (Love Isn't Always On Time), “Top je bio vreo” (So Hot Was the Cannon) and “Mali Budo” (Little Buddho), and three documentary films: “Kad ti tata kupi slona” (When Daddy Buys You an Elephant), “Put ka svetlosti” (Toward the Light) and “Lauš” (Laus). The cultural event was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Department for the Diaspora, Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Chicago and the Ministry of Culture and Information.
