First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic chaired today the Second Meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council held in Basel where he represented Serbia as Chairman of the Group for Cooperation with Mediterranean partners and as the incoming OSCE Chairman-in-Office.

The main topic was “Common challenges in counter-terrorism in and beyond the OSCE region”. In his keynote address, Minister Dacic pointed to the threat of international terrorism that could be countered only through intensified international cooperation.
Head of Serbian diplomacy talked today with the OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier on the preparations for the Serbian OSCE Chairmanship and on the current security issues in the OSCE region.
