During the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had bilateral meetings with the Foreign Ministers of Russia, Turkey, Sweden and Moldova. The main topic of the talks was Serbia’s OSCE chairmanship in 2015 which was supported by the Ministers. A number of bilateral issues were also discussed at the meetings.

Minister Dacic and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed issues of interest for the bilateral relations between Serbia and Russia, in light of the preparations for Minister Dacic’s visit to Moscow. The two interlocutors also discussed the current issues relevant to the incoming Serbian Chairmanship of the OSCE.
In the talks with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu, Head of Serbian Diplomacy received assurances that the Turkish side would do its utmost to urgently bring to justice the perpetrators of the murder of the Serbian fan. The two interlocutors confirmed the importance of mutual cooperation and Minister Cavusoglu invited Dacic to visit Turkey.
At the meeting with Moldovan Foreign Minister Natalia Gherman the two sides agreed that Minister Dacic should pay a visit to Moldova, and considered the possibility of an early resumption of negotiations, in 5+2 format, on the resolution of the Transnistria conflict, that were chaired by Ambassador Radojko Bogojevic in his capacity as Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office during the Swiss OSCE Chairmanship.
Minister Dacic discussed the modalities of mutual cooperation during the Serbian OSCE Chairmanship with the Co-Chairs of the Minsk Group, Ambassador James Warlick of the United States of America, Igor Popov of the Russian Federation and Pierre Andrieu of France as well as with the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict Andrzej Kasprzyk
