USA fully supportive of Serbia’s incoming OSCE chairmanship |

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic attended the XXI OSCE Ministerial Council Meeting, held in Basel today and the day after, at the end of the Swiss OSCE Chairmanship.
On the fringes of the meeting, the Head of Serbian Diplomacy talked with the US Secretary of State John Kerry who emphasized that the USA would strongly support Serbia during its OSCE Chairmanship next year. Minister Dacic also met UK Minister of State for Europe David Liddington and Belgian Foreign Minister and current Chairman of the Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers Didier Reynders, who supported Serbia’s incoming OSCE Chairmanship. The current bilateral issues were also discussed during the talks. Following the first plenary meeting of the Ministerial Council, Minister Dacic signed amendments to the Sub-Regional Arms Control Agreement, together with his counterparts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro, in the presence of the OSCE Chairman Didier Burkhalter. |
