Bilateral meetings of Minister Dacic on the fringes of the OSCE Ministerial Council

Meetings Minister Dacic in BaselOn the second day of the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Basel, in addition to several addresses that he delivered, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had talks with the Foreign Minister of Georgia Tamar Beruchashvili, Acting Foreign Minister of Mongolia Gankhuyag Damba and OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Astrid Thors.

In the talks with the Georgian Minister, both sides expressed their common wish for the promotion of bilateral cooperation and agreed on Minister Dacic paying a visit to Georgia next year. They also discussed some issues related to Geneva international talks on Georgia.
During the talks with his Mongolian counterpart, both Ministers expressed readiness for the promotion of bilateral relations and the development of cooperation in different areas. The Serbian side emphasized readiness to cooperate with Mongolia, in the capacity as next OSCE Chairman, on issues of common interest.
OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Astrid Thors informed Minister Dacic on the issues in her field of competence to which the attention should be devoted in the course of next year. Mutual readiness for cooperation during Serbia’s OSCE Chairmanship was also expressed in the talks.
