Unequivocal support by Denmark to Serbia on its European integration path

DanskaFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic paid today a visit to Copenhagen at the invitation of Foreign Affairs Minister of the Kingdom of Denmark Martina Lidegard.

Minister Dacic and Lidegard discussed further improvement of good bilateral relations between Serbia and Denmark, intensifying economic cooperation, the process of EU negotiations with Serbia, as well as the upcoming Chairmanship of the OSCE by Serbia in 2015 and coordination of activities with Denmark in that period.
After the meeting, the Serbian Foreign Minister said that in order to develop bilateral relations between the two countries, exchange of visits at high and highest levels was expected. When it comes to foreign trade between Serbia and Denmark, which currently stands at one hundred and twenty million, Dacic said that it was expected to increase in the future, particularly in the areas of agriculture and energy.
During the visit, Serbian Foreign Minister met with the President of the Danish Parliament Mogens Liketoftom. The talks confirmed once again the unequivocal support of Denmark to Serbia on its EU and underlined the importance of reforms undertaken by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
