The news carried in some of the Serbian media that Djordje Mihailovic, the guardian of the Serbian Military Cemetery at Zeitenlik, died was not true, announced the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Thessaloniki. 

Mr. Mihailovic is still doing his job every day, despite the discomfort he is going through with his family after the unconfirmed reports of his death appeared in the press.
