Indonesian Ambassador Semuel Samson pays farewell call

amb. IndonezijeFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a farewell call by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Serbia Semuel Samson.

Mutual interest for further enhancement of political dialogue through exchange of top-level visits and for intensification of all the aspects of bilateral and economic cooperation was expressed in the talks. It was also noted that in the year when we were marking 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, the two countries maintained broad cooperation in numerous areas, based on traditional friendship, understanding, and mutual respect.

Minister Dacic congratulated Ambassador on the high recognition, the Order of the Serbian Flag, that the President of the Republic of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic had presented to him as an expression of gratitude for his dedicated engagement and personal contribution to development and deepening of overall cooperation and traditional decades-long friendship between the two countries.

Ambassador Samson reiterated that Indonesia attached great attention to the fostering and strengthening of cooperation with Serbia in all areas of interest for the two countries, where the Ambassador had aspired to make his own contribution during his four-year term of office.
