First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic led the Serbian delegation attending the Annual Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Visegrad Group and the Foreign Ministers of the Western Balkans, which was held in Bratislava today.
The main objective of the meeting was to give a positive impetus to the continuation of the EU enlargement policy to the Western Balkans. The issues related to regional cooperation and the economic situation in this part of the region were discussed as well. The Foreign Ministers of Italy and Austria Federica Mogherini and Sebastian Kurz, as well as the Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council Goran Svilanovic participated at the annual meeting, too. Minister Dacic had a series of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the meeting with Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak, Polish Foreign Minister Grzegorz Schetyna and Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Siarto. |
