First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today the delegation of All-China Journalists Association, made up of representatives of the leading Chinese media groups from different provinces, and headed by the Hebei Daily Group President Guo Jinping.

In the talks, Minister Dacic stressed the traditionally good and friendly relations between the two countries and thanked for the PR China's principled position as regards Serbia's territorial integrity.

Interlocutors voiced their hope that the coming Summit between the Chinese Premier and government representatives from sixteen countries of Central and Eastern Europe, to be held in December of this year in Belgrade, would create a favourable environment for the enhancement of relations between Serbia and China at all levels.

The Serbian Foreign Minister commended the continued and unbiased reports by the Chinese media concerning Serbia, and agreed with the ACJA representatives that it was necessary in particular to intensify cooperation in the areas of culture and the media, in order for it to be on a par with the level of overall relations between the two countries.
