First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dačić agreed today in his meeting in New York with the Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Erlan Abdyldaev that it was necessary to work on the promotion of bilateral relations.

In the talks held on the margins of the 69th UNGA, the two Ministers assessed that particular attention should be given to the development of economic cooperation between Serbia and Kyrgyzstan, which is currently at a very low level.

They also discussed cooperation at the multilateral level, especially within the OSCE to be chaired by the Republic of Serbia next year. Minister Dačić announced that he would visit Kyrgyzstan during the Serbian Chairmanship of the OSCE.
