First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dačić received today a farewell call from Ambassador of the French Republic to Serbia Francois-Xavier Deniau.

Underlining the traditional friendship between Serbia and France, the interlocutors assessed that the bilateral relations between their countries had intensified and that the political dialogue was promoted through the exchange of visits on the highest level and strengthening of their strategic partnership.

Minister Dačić expressed his gratitude for the continued support that France extended to Serbia's EU integration process, recalling that EU membership was Serbia's foreign policy priority. He also drew attention to the significant presence of French companies in Serbia, expressing his expectation of the increase in the investments from that country.

Ambassador Deniau thanked Minister Dačić for the good cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other institutions of the Republic of Serbia and expressed the hope that the friendly relations between our two countries would be further promoted.
