Expectations were expressed that the Committee's first visit to Belgrade, as proposed by the Italian Presidency, will contribute to better perception of the reform process carried out by the Republic of Serbia. The programme of the visit was assessed as comprehensive and substantive, which will enable Serbian representatives to extensively present to the members of the Committee the activities of the Republic of Serbia in the framework of its European agenda. Ambassador Manzo thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in particular, for the cooperation so far in preparing this important visit, while Minister Dačić took the opportunity to extend his congratulations on the appointment of Italian Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini as EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and wished her every success in her work.
