At the demise of former Minister of Foreign Affairs of SFR Yugoslavia Mirko Tepavac, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dačić, addressed the following message of condolences to his family and friends:

"On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and on my own behalf, I extend profound condolences to the family, friends and the Serbian people, for this sad loss.

Mirko Tepavac was a prominent Foreign Minister at a time when our country enjoyed great reputation in the world. I was honoured to have had an opportunity to get to know him and his vast political and life experience", says the message of condolences.
