Dacic - LagumdzijaFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zlatko Lagumdzija, who is оn a working visit to Serbia.

During the conversation, they exchanged views on issues related to the forthcoming conference on the Western Balkans, to be held in Berlin on 28 August 2014.

They discussed the overall political relations between the two countries and stressed that after the upcoming elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina scheduled for October this year, it was necessary to intensify the political dialogue at the highest level and approach to solving the remaining open questions.

The Ministers concluded that the holding of a joint session of the Government of Serbia and the BiH Council of Ministers would significantly contribute to this process.

The topic of their discussions also included the European integration processes of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and on this occasion it was agreed to improve economic cooperation, primarily in their joint presence on third markets.

Minister Dacic underlined that Serbia strongly supported the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Dayton/Paris Agreement, and all that was, in terms of organization of BiH, agreed by the two entities and three constituent peoples.
