On this occasion, they also discussed the possibilities for further visa liberalization as the basis for attracting foreign investments and a larger number of foreign tourists to the Republic of Serbia. They concluded that it was necessary to initiate the signing of bilateral agreements on visa liberalization with some countries which are important trading partners of the Republic of Serbia. At the same time, it was agreed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs initiates, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, should consider facilitation for foreign nationals with Schengen, U.S. or UK visas to enter the Republic of Serbia.

In view of further promoting economic diplomacy and particularly the economic interests of the Republic of Serbia abroad, the need was stressed for closer cooperation between the two Ministries, with the optimal use of the network of Serbian diplomatic and consular missions.
