Dacic talked with the Foreign Ministers of Bulgaria and Romania

dacic-bugarski-ministarFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic, who is heading the Serbian delegation at the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) in Varna, talked with the Foreign Minister of Bulgaria Kristian Vigenin and the Foreign Minister of Romania Titus Corlatean.

Bulgarian Minister Vigenin told Minister Dacic that Bulgaria shall continue to strongly support Serbia on its European path. Minister Dacic invited the Bulgarian head of diplomacy to visit Belgrade in July.

During talks with his Romanian colleague Corlatean, Minister Dacic thanked his Romanian colleague for the assistance that Romania provided to Serbia during the recent catastrophic flooding.

In his address to the Conference, the Serbian Foreign Minister pointed out that the regional cooperation was one of the main foreign policy priorities of the Republic of Serbia and that, therefore, Serbia endeavoured to support every initiative aimed at promoting dialogue, multilateral economic cooperation and the strengthening of regional good-neighbourly relations.

As a country in the process of EU accession, the Republic of Serbia strongly supports the strengthening of cooperation within the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation and the EU, with the aim of achieving concrete results and goals of mutual cooperation, added Minister Dacic.
