First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic conferred today with Rt Hon David Lidington MP, UK Minister of State for Europe.

The UK Europe Minister expressed his regret over the recent disastrous floods and announced that in the coming days the UK Government would consider practical measures of providing relief assistance to the affected areas in Serbia.

The Ministers also discussed the continuation of Serbia's European integration process, strengthening of bilateral relations existing between the two countries, Serbia's upcoming OSCE Chairmanship-in-Office, and current international issues.

Minister Lidington reaffirmed that official London would support Serbia's European integration, and expressed readiness for the enhancement of economic cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the United Kingdom.
