First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today the OSCE Secretary General, Lamberto Zannier.

Minister Dacic talked with Mr. Zannier about the focal points of crisis that OSCE is dealing with, and the challenges posed before this Organization by intenational conflicts.

Minister Dacic stressed that the Serbian OSCE Chairmanship-in-Office in 2015, when the 40th anniversary of the Helsinki Final Act will be marked, is Serbia's political priority, and a major chance for Serbia to present itself globally as an important political factor.

It was concluded in the talks that Serbia, with its experience of a post-conflict society that has successfully overcome the regional conflicts inherited from the past, can significantly contribute to calming the conflicts figuring on the OSCE agenda.
