First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today a visit from Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Belgrade, Alexander Chepurin. Minister Dacic conveyed his deep gratitude to the Russian state authorities, and particularly to the rescue teams of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies, for the dedication, high professional standards and bravery they had demonstrated in evacuating and providing assistance to the affected population in the flooded parts of Serbia.

Both sides noted in a friendly and open talk that the relations between Serbia and Russia had been maintained at a high level, and that they were good and friendly. Issues concerning further improvement of bilateral cooperation were discussed. The commitment of both countries to intensifying relations in all areas of mutual interest was stressed.
