First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and UNMIK Chief Farid Zarif before the forthcoming regular session of the UN Security Council devoted to UNMIK.

The two sides exchanged views on the work of UNMIK in the period from January to April 2014, with particular emphasis on the upcoming reconfiguration of EULEX.

Minister Dacic pointed out the crucial importance of the presence and activities of UNMIK in Kosovo and Metohija, in accordance with UNSC Resolution 1244, as the only guarantor of status neutrality of the international presence in our southern province.
