Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic addressed today in Belgrade participants of the First South-East Europe Plenary Conference of the World Federation of Consuls (FICAC).

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said he wished the Conference participants successful deliberations, stressing the importance of it taking place in Belgrade, both for the region, and for a more active participation of the MFA Consular Department and the Consular Corps of foreign consular officials in the Republic of Serbia, in various activities and bodies of the World Federation of Consuls.

The Minister expressed his belief that during their stay in Serbia, they would familiarize themselves with its history, culture, and economic potential. The Minister took the opportunity to inform the attendees about foreign policy goals, whereby he laid emphasis on the activities related to Serbia's EU membership aspirations, and Serbian efforts to create an environment as favourable as possible to the further economic development of the Republic of Serbia.
