FlagFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic is participating today and tomorrow at the meeting of Foreign Ministers of the EU and Western Balkans countries in Thessaloniki.

The Ministerial Conference is an opportunity to re-affirm the European future of the region. The meeting, hosted by Greece as the current EU Presidency, symbolically marks the tenth anniversary of the Thessaloniki Agenda, which paved the way for the European integration of the Western Balkans.

Upon arrival in Thessaloniki, FDPM and MFA Dacic will attend the dinner hosted for all Heads of Delegations by Greek Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Evangelos Venizelos, who chairs the event.

The second day of the Conference will begin with a working breakfast for the Foreign Ministers of the Western Balkans and European Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Füle.

The meeting in Thessaloniki is an opportunity for bilateral meetings of Minister Dacic, who will meet tomorrow Italian Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini.

After the visits by High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton, immediately following the installation of the new Government, and by the EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Füle this week, participation in the Thessaloniki Conference will be yet another opportunity for the Republic of Serbia to affirm its commitment to the European integration.
