State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Snezana Jankovic received today Zoran Perkovic, Assistant Minister responsible for consular affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Bilateral relations between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina were discussed in the talks, as well as the situation in the region. Consular cooperation maintained up to now, and the experience gained in mutual provision of consular services and protection, were positively assessed. It was agreed in principle that the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Brasilia should undertake activities concerning provision of consular services to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, where Bosnia and Herzegovina does not have its diplomatic and consular mission. An agreement was reached that other current issues of mutual interest be discussed at expert-level meetings, whereby preconditions for their speedier resolution would be created. |
