Bilateral Consultations on Multilateral and Security Issues Held between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia

Bilateral consultations on multilateral and security issues between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia were held in Belgrade, on 27 March 2014.

The consultations were headed by the Assistant Foreign Minister for Security Policy, Ambassador Miomir Udovicki, and the Assistant Foreign Minister for Multilateral Cooperation, Ambassador Roksanda Nincic, on the Serbian side, and by the Director General for Global Issues and Multilateral Political Relations, Ambassador Dragoljub Bencina, on the Slovenian side.

The talks were focused on bilateral relations, with particular emphasis on cooperation in the security policy area, situation in Kosovo and Metohija, Serbia's cooperation with NATO through Partnership for Peace, with the EU within Common Security and Defence Policy, including the most important steps that Serbia has taken in the area of arms control. The two delegations also discussed issues of importance for their cooperation in multilateral fora, especially OSCE, UN and UNESCO.
