MFA Statement Concerning Situation in Ukraine
+ larger fontnormal font- Smaller font
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia has been following closely and with concern the developments in Ukraine.

Serbia fully supports the political efforts aimed at overcoming the present situation and establishing the necessary stability.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued an advisory for Serbian citizens, saying that it is necessary to refrain from travelling to this country.

Serbian citizens who are temporarily staying and working in this country are advised to avoid public rallies and to be in contact with the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Kyiv. The Embassy endeavours to keep in touch with the Serbian citizens who live in Ukraine. Up to this point we have received no information that any one of them is in danger.

Under the agreement with state representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Kyiv maintains regular contacts with the citizens of these two countries as well, considering the fact that these countries have no diplomatic and consular missions in Ukraine.
