Mrkic - PoposkiMinister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Mrkic conferred today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia, Nikola Poposki, who was on an official visit to Serbia.

The main topics of the talks included strengthening of the political dialogue existing between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Macedonia, further development of bilateral cooperation, European integration process, promotion of economic cooperation and other.

Recalling the traditionally good relations between the two countries, the importance of holding joint sessions between the two Governments, providing an impetus to further strengthening of bilateral relations, was underscored.

The Heads of Diplomacy of the two countries signed an Agreement on mutual recognition of diplomas with the aim of enhancing their educational cooperation.

Minister Mrkic pointed out the importance of the agreement reached between the two countries to work out a programme of bilateral consultations and cooperation.

Minister Poposki underlined the importance of partner relations between the two countries and their common European future.
