Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Mrkic received today Vera Jovanovski - Tipko, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Macedonia to Serbia.
The meeting was organized prior to the official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia, Nikola Poposki, to the Republic of Serbia, scheduled for 21 February. The basic issues concerning bilateral relations to be discussed on that occasion were reviewed, such as the content and intensity of the political dialogue, the cooperation in the process of European integration, the promotion of economic cooperation and others. Minister Mrkic stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and the significance of continuity of exchanging high level visits. Both sides assessed that the forthcoming visit of the Minister Poposki to the Republic of Serbia would serve to strengthen the overall relations between the two countries. |
