Participants in Advanced Security and Defence Studies of the Military Academy Visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The third class of participants in Advanced Security and Defence Studies (ASDS) of the Serbian MoD Military Academy visited today the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The aim of the visit was to familiarize the participants with MFA area of activity, its current tasks and development perspectives, and with the basic features of the foreign policy relations in the south-east European region.

The participants were addressed by Ambassador Slobodan Vukcevic, MFA Secretary General, Ambassador Miomir Udovicki, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for security policy, and Ambassador Goran Petrovic, Deputy Head of the Bilateral Cooperation Sector.

On the occasion, the guests visited the Museum of the History of Diplomacy, where they were addressed by Aleksandra Kovac, Head of MFA Diplomatic Academy.

The Advanced Security and Defence Studies are the highest form of training in the military education system of the Republic of Serbia. In addition to the representatives of Serbian Government Ministries and Agencies, the studies are attended also by three high officers of the Armed Forces from the region, i.e. from the Republic of Croatia, Republic of Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
