The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia has been following with great concern the surge of violence in Iraq's Anbar Province, caused by terrorist and extremist organizations.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia welcomes the statement of the UN Security Council President of 10 January 2014, condemning terrorist attacks in the Anbar Province and strongly supporting the Government of the Republic of Iraq in its endeavours to restore peace and security in the Anbar Province, as well as in other parts of the country.
