Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Mrkic received today the Ambassador of Switzerland to the Republic of Serbia, Jean - Daniel Ruch, on the occasion of the Swiss OSCE Chairmanship, which began on 1 January this year.

Both officials agreed that the cooperation between the two countries within the OSCE was extremely dynamic and would improve over the next two years, under the Swiss-Serbian consecutive chairmanship and membership of both countries in the OSCE Troika.

During this period, Switzerland and Serbia will lead the reform process in this important international organization currently carried out, on the basis of the Joint workplan for chairing the Organization and in cooperation with all OSCE participating States.

They also discussed joint activities of the two countries to commemorate the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.
