Foreign Minister Mrkic Meets High Representative for BIH Valentin Inzko |

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Mrkic met today with the High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina Valentin Inzko, who was on a regular visit to the Republic of Serbia after having submitted his report to the UN Security Council on the situation in BiH and the implementation of the Dayton Agreement, on 12 November.
During the meeting, all important aspects of regional cooperation were discussed, particularly in the context of the European integration of the Republic of Serbia and that of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The High Representative congratulated on the decision to start negotiations between Serbia and the EU, assessing that it was an impetus for progress of the entire region towards EU membership. During the talks, Minister Mrkic expressed the commitment of the Republic of Serbia to continue promoting cooperation with BiH at all levels, while respecting the Dayton Agreement. |
