Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for the EU, Ljubica Vasic, talked today with Eldar Hasanov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Belgrade.

Traditionally good and friendly relations between the two countries were confirmed in the talk, and economic cooperation, which had shown a sharp rise in the previous period, was stressed in particular.

Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for the EU, Ljubica Vasic, pointed to the most important aspects of the EU integration of the Republic of Serbia, explaining the next steps in the process.

Ambassador Eldar Hasanov underscored that there was a bond between the two peoples which stems from the fact that they faced similar problems throughout history, and he emphasized the significance of current and future cooperation.
