Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic and Foreign Minister Ivan Mrkic met today with the academician, writer and first President of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Dobrica Cosic, with whom they discussed plans to commemorate the centenary of the outbreak of World War I and the attack on Serbia.

It was pointed out that this anniversary afforded an opportunity to talk about the European character of the struggle of the Serbian people, who invested itself and its state defending the achievements of the civilization of Europe of that time.
