UdovickiThe 51st meeting of the Sub-Regional Consultative Commission (under the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Article IV, Annex 1-B), which was chaired by R. Serbia, was held on 29-30 October 2013 in Belgrade. On behalf of the Chairperson and the host country of the meeting, Ambassador Miomir Udovicki, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, welcomed the participants.

In addition to the delegations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro and the Republic of Serbia, the meeting was also attended by the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for Article IV, Brigadier General Michele Torres, representatives of the Contact Group members (USA, RF, Italy, France, Germany and Great Britain), Director of RACVIAC Ambassador Branimir Mandic and representatives of the OSCE Secretariat/Centre for Conflict Prevention.

Much attention was given to the issues related to the completion of the process of transferring ownership to the Parties to the Agreement. The participants of the meeting, inter alia, adopted a Decision on acceptance of the draft amendments to the Agreement, relating to the cessation of the functions of the Personal Representative by the end of 2014. This created the conditions for the initiation of internal procedures for the adoption of these amendments.

Bosnia and Herzegovina assumed Chairmanship of the Sub-Regional Consultative Commission.
