Marking Herceg Novi Municipality Day

HNThe events marking Herceg Novi Municipality Day ended on 28 October with a formal session of the Municipal Assembly of Herceg Novi. The session was attended by a large number of officials of Montenegro, President of Montenegrin municipalities, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia Zoran Bingulac and Consul General Marina Jovicevic. Congratulations on the occasion of the Municipality Day were offered by the President of Montenegro, Filip Vujanovic, and Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic.

October awards and honorary citizen charters were awarded, and in the framework of the celebration, a monument to the founder of the city, King Tvrtko I Kotromanic was unveiled on Sunday 27 October. The authors of the monument are sculptors from Belgrade, Dragoljub and Miodrag Dimitrijevic.

The ceremony was attended by many guests, including the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Honorary Consul of Hungary.
