Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Mrkic addressed a message of congratulation to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov on his reappointment, and expressed his conviction that the traditionally friendly relations and cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Azerbaijan would continue their dynamic all-round development. Mrkic thanked H.E. Elmar Mammadyarov for the strong and principled support of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia and its efforts to resolve the issue of Kosovo and Metohija peacefully and through diplomacy and dialogue.
