Ahead of its tour of Serbia, the Prague Mixed Choir held a concert of the Czech- Serbian Friendship on 17 October 2013, under the auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia and with the support of the Magistrate of the City of Prague and the National Theatre.
The repertoire included works by Smetana, Dvorak, Lukas and Tucapsky and the Czech and Serbian songs. In an exquisite concert hall, large audiences rewarded the performers with a big round of applause, as well as the Ambassador and Embassy staff members who were greeted in the opening speech before the concert.
Concerts in Serbia (Belgrade, Novi Sad) will be held under the auspices of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in the Republic of Serbia.
