The Agreement between of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Poland on cooperation in the fields of culture, education and science was signed in Belgrade by Mrs. Vera Mavric, State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and Ms. Henryka Moscicka-Dendys, Under-Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. At the same time, bilateral political consultations were held between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. In the talks views were exchanged on current bilateral issues, progress of the Republic of Serbia in the European integration processes and regional cooperation.

The Polish delegation was in Belgrade on the occasion of the participation of Poland as a guest of honour at the 58th Belgrade International Book Fair.
