Charity exhibition match between Novak Djokovic and Li Na

djokovic-li-naThe charity exhibition match between the most famous Serbian tennis player and the world No. 1, N. Djokovic and Chinese tennis player Li Na was held in Beijing, on 24 September 2013. The funds raised by ticket sales are intended for the Chinese humanitarian organization Song Qing Ling Foundation.
The first game of this type held in China was attended by over 12 thousand spectators, including a large number of prominent personalities from the political and social life of PR China. Apart from the owner of the China Environmental Energy Holdings Billy Ngok, whose company was the main organizer of the event, and the humanitarian program give51.org, the match was also attended by the high representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of PR China, led by DMFA Sung Tao and representatives of the Department of Europe. On the Serbian side, the match was attended by Chargé d'Affaires a.i. T. Panajotovic Cvetkovic, representatives of the Embassy of RS in Beijing, and a large number of members of the Serbian diaspora in Beijing, who contributed to the humanitarian purposes of the match by purchasing the tickets. The fact that the diplomatic corps showed a great interest in the match was demonstrated by many representatives of embassies in Beijing.
This match also marked the official opening of "China Open" competition, by the Chinese side, and marked its tenth anniversary. The match was broadcast by sports channel of the Chinese National Television CCTV 5, as well as more than 60 Chinese and world media.
