luandaAt the invitation of the President of the "Agostinho Neto" Foundation, Mrs. Maria Eugenia Neto (widow of the first President of Angola), in the framework of events marking 91 years of the birth of A. Neto and the 50th anniversary of the African Union, the Serbian Embassy, and other foreign diplomatic and consular missions, took part at the "International Exhibition of Gastronomy" on 14 September, in the town of Katete.
The Embassy staff prepared several traditional Serbian dishes that were served at our stand. The presentation and tasting of dishes caused notable interest among domestic visitors, as well as representatives of other embassies. During degustation, the visitors talked with Embassy representatives, inquiring about the local cuisine, folklore and landmarks of the Republic of Serbia.

During the tour of the Embassy's stand by Mrs. Neto, the Ambassador presented our traditional dishes. In a brief conversation he recalled the decades-long friendship between our peoples and pointed out that people in the Republic of Serbia remember President Neto as a great friend. Mrs. Neto thanked the Embassy for taking part in this exhibition for the first time and expressed her hope that it would continue to do so in the future.
