IMG 9060-malaAssistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Roksanda Nincic met yesterday with a group of Ambassadors accredited to the OSCE in Vienna during their visit to Belgrade.

Ambassadors were particularly interested in the Serbian 2015 OSCE Chairmanship priorities, its assessment of cooperation with the OSCE Mission in Belgrade, the issues concerning regional cooperation, as well as whether and to what extent the chairmanship is viewed as an accelerator of the European integration process.

AMFA Nincic emphasized that the Serbian OSCE Chairmanship-in-office was an honor and duty which we approached with full dedication. She added that the cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Serbia and the OSCE Mission could serve as a model of good and successful cooperation. She also noted that regional cooperation, particularly the continuous improvement of relations with its neighbours, both bilaterally and multilaterally, is one of the foreign policy priorities of the Republic of Serbia. In the context of the European integration process, AMFA Nincic pointed out that our maximum engagement in preparing for the OSCE Chairmanship-in-office was viewed as a way of affirmation at the international level, which would help reaffirm the Republic of Serbia as a reliable international partner.
