International Congress of Slavic Studies winds up in Minsk

minskThe delegation of the Republic of Serbia took part in the 15th International Congress of Slavic Studies held in Minsk, from 20 to 26 August 2013. The 35-strong Serbian delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Slobodan Markovic, former member of the International Slavic Studies Committee of R. Serbia.

At the final session of the International Slavic Studies Committee, it was unanimously decided that Serbia hosted the next Congress of Slavic Studies in 2018. Dr. Bosko Suvajdzic, Professor at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade was elected Chairman of the International Committee and Professor S. Markovic was elected an honorary member of the Committee.
