Art exhibition "Constantine" by Veljko Mihajlovic in Budva

konstantin-budvaThe exhibition of paintings by Veljko Mihailovic from Belgrade "Constantine - Montenegro and the world" was opened in Budva at the Church of Holy Mary Mother of God, on 20 August 2013.

The exhibition was organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia and the Budva Theatre City, with the support of the Municipality of Budva and Budva's Tourist Organization, on the occasion of the 1700th anniversary of the Edict of Milan and 600 years of the founding of the Church of St. Nicholas at the Monastery of Praskvica.

Part of the exhibition included the prints presenting the thematic motif of Emperor Constantine and his mother, Empress Helena, from the churches and monasteries in Montenegro, the Vatican, Italy, Hungary, Romania, Albania, Bulgaria and Macedonia.

The second part of the exhibition, featuring Emperor Constantine in the monasteries and churches of Serbia will be opened on 21 August, in the Public Enterprise Memorial Centre "Red Commune" in Petrovac, Pastrovici.
