A fundraising event "Helping our Kosovo and Metohija" was held at Kanli tower in Herceg Novi, on Saturday 17 August 2013. The money from ticket sales is intended for the reconstruction of the monastery of the Holy Archangels near Prizren, where Emperor Dusan was initially buried.
The event featured actress Ivana Zigon with Kosovo poppies, singer Jelena Tomasevic, church choirs from Bijela and Kumbor, and sing and dance companies "Ilija Kisic" of Zelenika and "Sloga" of Djenovici. The benefit concert was attended by over 1,500 people.
The audience also included the Consul and administrative staff on behalf of the Consulate General.
